Can someone please explain to @Airbnb that a pull out couch doesn't qualify as a bedroom? So many listings with '2 bedroom', '3 bedroom' when one of them is the living room..

@CP24 My rent went up by almost $200 per month in two years, and I'm lucky that I can share this expense with my partner, but I shutter to think about how the older population (i.e. pensioners) and single individuals afford rent. It's becoming so impossible to live in the city.
@_yuliyac@HollyburnPpty We received a notice of increase document that just outlined what the percentage and amount was each month, but no letter explaining why or if it has been approved by the tenant board. Even from the increase a year ago
Frustrated @HollyburnPpty resident here. Not sure why my rent is going up 5.5% this year, over double what the max increase allows, with absolutely no explanation. Last year, it went up over 4%. I think your residents deserve answers. $176 increase per month in 2 years is insane.
