@rosshigh So, my son went to China last year on an exchange trip, not in the care of school staff but it was noted as an authorised absence.
Yet he canβt go into Edinburgh to join a protest which is SUPPORTED by ELC as an authorised absence as he isnβt under the care of school staff???!!!
@OrmistonPrimary So my children say we have to do leadership videos at home for tomorrow. Is this true? There was no deadline date on the letter. I know they can do them in school but they have been informed that they will be βmuch more interesting if they are done at homeβ.
@OrmistonPrimary But these messages do not always make their way home... There are other occasions when there arenβt enough staff due to pre-planned events like trips, camps, parents nights. Knowing that fitness kit is not needed on these days would also be very helpful.
@OrmistonPrimary Another way to reduce plastic waste going to landfill? Walkers launched this today but it is for all crisp packets. If you have over 400 they will collect! https://t.co/UrR9vHmb4A
@SharonMarr1@OrmistonPrimary It would be really helpful if it was communicated to parents when fitness is not going to be on. Itβs a heavy load for wee ones to carry trainers, hoody, t-shirt and shirts/trackies all the way to school and back for no reason...
@SoniaRenton@OrmistonPrimary One of mine did something similar, in P6 I think, maybe with Miss Cowan? Just had an ordinary notebook and wrote every day in it, two good things that had happened and one act of kindness. It was helpful.
