Let go of the little distractions hold close to the ones that you love, because we won't all be here this time next year, so while you can get a picture of us.
@MikeParcej my carriage back from St P today had no air con . We all looked like we had been swimming. Train too packed to sit elsewhere. You can't move live stock in those conditions....we have less rights than cows ! !!
@EastMidRailway 15.31 from St P left at 15.47. Train is rammed. Coach B has no aircon and no other place to sit. You wouldnt be allowed to move cattle in these conditions! Someone could die of heat stroke here!
@nationalrailenq the 15.31 to sheff just vanished. no announcement. live shows it still operating. has the heat affected your ability to provide updates?
@Ani_1234567@WhiteHouse you do realise the defeat hasn't tarnished your image don't you ? It was tarnished when you bullied and attacked another country killing many civilians.
The mask is completely off. A retired US General admits that since the Pentagon has run out of military targets in Iran, they are now preparing to systematically destroy the country's national civilian infrastructure. This is a blatant confession of planned war crimes.
@jimsallas@jonsopel I think NATO passed that loyalty test when we all came out and defended you after 9/11. If you go to war without talking to NATO it's not NATOs concern to bail you out. You were 5 minutes away from a peace agreement and you went to war. What is wrong with you all?
@jonsopel So true. This is old but still needs repeating, the USA electorate can lobby their Congress up for re-election and ask for Donald to be what he claimed of lowering inflation and ending wars.
Donald Trump has no justification for this war. That's why he seems incoherent and frustrated:
He cannot invoke an Iranian “nuclear bomb” after claiming he had already obliterated the program. He cannot argue that Iran was rebuilding it, because every credible expert assessment confirms that Iran’s nuclear activities have been on pause since last June. Nor can he claim that Iran rejected diplomacy, since Tehran was actively negotiating—in a process the Omani foreign minister described as making meaningful progress—and was prepared to offer unprecedented concessions in exchange for sanctions relief.
He cannot credibly invoke preemptive self-defense either, because no serious person believes Iran was about to attack the United States. He cannot claim "urgency and necessity" since no one believes Iran posed an imminent existential threat to a nuclear-armed superpower with a near–trillion-dollar military budget. He cannot pretend humanitarian motives, since there were no protests underway when the attack began.
That’s why he has to take a little bit of every argument, mix it with one-sided grievances about Iranians taking over the U.S. embassy nearly fifty years ago, biased references to events from the 1980s, and rely on caricatured, vilifying rhetoric about Iran’s “evil regime,” wrapped in vague claims of “doing it for the future.”
The reality is simpler and far more troubling for the American people:
This president cannot articulate a legitimate justification because this war was never planned in the interest of the United States. The real justifications belong to Israel. And, of course, he cannot admit that he plunged the region into a war—which threatens to expand by the hour—put U.S. troops in harm’s way, broke his campaign promises by starting another war, risked disrupting global energy markets, and pushed the world closer to a broader conflict at the behest of Benjamin Netanyahu.
In other words, he cannot admit that he has effectively turned “America First” into “Israel First.”
@RupertMyers Surely they don't pay taxes because they don't earn enougj to pat tax? That is entirely different to someone who does earn enough to pay tax and leaves the UK to avoid paying it ?
