I'm so impressed with CC people in their 20s and 30s. Developmentally, it's just a very difficult time in general, focused on "launching," so there is a lot of pressure surrounding relationships, education, and work.

Since pandemic onset, you have lived through immense threats, which much of society stopped acknowledging in 2022. That can create immense stigma, isolation, and alienation. You may be dealing with health issues or caregiving for family earlier than anticipated, or both.

These challenges are often much harder if money is especially tight, or you're a part of an underrepresented or minoritized group or groups. It's just difficult in so many way.

Anyway, you're the best. I see you. You're way ahead of your time. Keep fighting. 💪😷

Malignant narcissists, psychopaths target people who are isolated or can be isolated. When you first meet someone never tell them you’re estranged from family, lonely or have just moved. This increases the chances predators will target you sexually, romantically, financially etc.

An Italian restaurant chain in California and Nevada has to pay $3 million in a sexual harassment settlement after an investigation identified at least 100 female workers, MANY OF WHOM WERE TEENAGERS, who were negatively affected by the workplace environment.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission says that supervisors and coworkers at Il Fornaio's 17 restaurants harassed women in ways that included unwanted touching, requests for sexual favors, and explicit comments.

The CEO of Il Fornaio is Ronald Joseph (RJ) Thomas Jr. Company management has denied wrongdoing despite all the evidence compiled by the EEOC going back several years.

Over 100 women and teenagers provided detailed, consistent accounts. Not to mention all the digital and physical evidence like text messages, chat histories, and internal complaint records.

...But sure, "nothing happened," and they're just paying $3 million out of the kindness of their "heart."

Anyone who's ever worked at restaurants has seen first-hand how gross the sexual harassment is. A financial slap on the wrist is nothing. Using the workplace as a weapon of sexual coercion should result in criminal charges.

COVlD levels have rebounded into a secondary peak, as the CDC continues to retroactively correct levels upward.

Outbreaks span 44 states (see Alt). Levels are falling in TX, still high out west, & up in the Northeast.
