@alanrothdc @paulschwartzman Please do not speak for us. Our team followed the rules as they were presented to us & met all the standards set by DC government.
#thelineDC employees will remain vigilant to ensure that @councilofdc fully understands the facts around our compliance & are not again mislead by falsehoods about the status of our hotel & its abatement or again caught up in the broader political agenda of certain Councilmembers
@alanrothdc @benjycannon @tweetelissa@BrianneKNadeau We encourage you to verify with DOES & we imagine all of this will come forward in light of the transparency amendment that the Council passed yesterday, which we support. https://t.co/UxAArxHMew (3/3)
Agreed - And we made the DC-residents who worked on #theLineDC construction project information available too. We have nothing to hide - we are in full compliance: https://t.co/l8v538oTD5
@alanrothdc @benjycannon @tweetelissa@BrianneKNadeau DOES confirmed the standard for construction jobs in a mtg with the hotel dev team on 9.19.16. There never has been any misunderstanding between our team & DOES on this matter. These jobs have been discussed with DOES on a monthly basis since the inception of the project.(2/3)
@_colleenmurphy_ @LydsONeal Actually, we are confident that we will ultimately be certified as compliant with the real estate tax abatement & grateful for @councilofdc@ChmnMendelson leadership. Here is our statement: https://t.co/UxAArxHMew
“The LINE DC and our more than 300 employees are grateful to the DC Council for keeping the hotel’s real estate tax abatement in place”
