@thr3esticks@mls_nightowl@_FutboIOscar They didn't. It was before the beginning of the season. But it's so not good that we're still talking about it halfway through the season.
@mls_nightowl@_FutboIOscar Yeah, since MLS has a hard time making money on MLS Fantasy, it's held a low priority for them even since I started playing in 2017. But unfortunately, the people who "run" it have very little control over how much they can do. It's the MLS higher-ups who are to blame IMO.
@mls_nightowl@_FutboIOscar I don't know if this is the issue, but MLS got a new data provider and didn't really plan for how it would affect the fantasy game. That's why the scoring system changed, and this data provider has been causing issues all year for more than just the fantasy product.
@tommerdahl@MLSFantasyBoss@MLSFantasy@MLSFI MLS Fantasy Boss, despite the name, isn't in charge of the rules or affiliated with MLS in that way. The entirety of the MLS Fantasy community, including MLS Fantasy Boss and myself and so many others, were taken by complete surprise by this change.
@SyzygyCity@MLSFantasy Someone in the @MLSFantasyBoss community can confirm, but I think that was yet another change that was made with the new points system and data provider. No more CS for defenders who sub out and subsequently have a goal scored against their team.
Idk what, exactly, Matt Miazga did on Saturday.
But after watching soccer this weekend, and hearing Mikel Arteta & Vanni Sartini, and seeing subjective calls framed by fans as sinister plots against their team... who the hell would want to be a referee?

And now for the matchups... We have a bit of a funny double game week in that the only two teams with multiple games are CLT & MIA, both of which are against each other!
