@brdemuth I remember how Nancy Langston’s Toxic Bodies hit me hard both intellectually and corporeally. Reading it as a scholar and as a woman, I couldn’t help but intensely thinking about my body and the biotechnological regimes that govern and manipulate it.

@brdemuth @CJSlaby To go beyond the Envhist a little (since we call ourselves interdisciplinary), Thom van Dooren’s Flight Ways remains my all times favorite. Some books are great for the mind, and some great for the soul. This one is the latter.
