But seeing as learning a foreign name is thus merely learning a word from another language we shouldn't punish or call people racist if they mispronounce a name. After all, would we do the same if they mispronounced any other foreign word? (i.e. Eng. "though").

Well, @duolingo says “Our aim is to channel limited resources into enhancing high-demand courses like Spanish, French, and German, which serve a larger audience in the UK and worldwide”.

So I guess it’s quality over quantity. Great for those learning the more popular languages, but bad news for the smaller courses…
