While it’s easy to label political involvement as 'selective activism,' calling out electoral manipulation and protecting the vote should be welcomed regardless of the timing or party involved. Ensuring a free and fair process benefits everyone, not just one candidate. Furthermore, criticizing a public figure for supporting a family member overlooks the reality of family loyalty in politics; endorsing a leader's re-election doesn't mean a blanket approval of every national policy or failure. Instead of dismissing the message based on partisan lines, we should focus on the actual call to defend democratic transparency.
Very timely reminder. While we must absolutely guard against state-sponsored or politically motivated divisions, we must also ensure that calling for accountability from influential leaders isn't completely dismissed as mere 'manipulation.' The youth must remain critical thinkers, united in purpose but uncompromising on performance across all sectors
