Not only is he a va and mocap artist, he’s a legit stunt man and martial artist. He was doing stunt work for Power Rangers productions for years. Both him and Johnny Yong Bosch would do their fight scenes legit cause they were trained.

I think the greatest/funniest thing about this fight in particular is that Luffy absolutely dogs Caesar with a single Grizzly Magnum in the manga. It’s like two panels. No struggle, no clash, just straight belt to ass.
