We have successfully intergrated therapist calendars unto our platform so our users can book appointments appropriately and with knowledge of their availability.
Things Covid has proven:
1. The job you were told couldn't be done remotely can be done remotely
2. Many disabled workers could have been working from home, but corporations just didnt want them to.
3. Internet is a utility, not a luxury
4. Universal healthcare is necessary
In light of campus-wide event cancellations at @RyersonU we will be cancelling in-person #CaffeinatedInnovators sessions until further notice. In the meantime, we will develop an alternative way to host our Friday morning conversations virtually. Stay tuned!
Any sort of crisis can aggravate anxiety and stress induced disorders. Take care of your mental health while we all practice "social distancing" to protect ourselves from infection with COVID-19.
Use the internet more consciously to avoid undue stress.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)? What is it?
"In a recent Canadian study, 77% of those receiving short-term psychotherapy (16 sessions of cognitive re-evaluation, problem-solving training, and exposure) remained GAD-free one year after treatment." #InfoThursdays#TryingTherapy
Thank you to Paul Hacking for putting the event together to showcase how much mental health solutions matter. Congratulations to the other finalists and winners; Inkblot, Managing Life, Get A-Head & A4I, who are all doing important work!
Our exciting milestone!
Last Thursday, we won a competition by St. Michael's Hospital and Ryerson University through the Biomedical Zone and Shoppers Drug Mart! It was a call to find the best solution to help people easily access, navigate and connect to mental health care.
The panel of judges highlighted our focus on addressing the diverse & individual needs of a person or employee seeking mental health support. We're thrilled at the opportunity to work with Dr. Linda Maxwell's team at the Biomedical Zone to grow the LinkMentalHealth platform.
Congratulations to @LinkMentHealth and glad to see you growing! Link Mental Health was one of the participants of the Access to Success Bootcamp in 2019.
