Nothing in your original post said anything about "quality", just some vague shit about "how Star Wars is going", when the franchise literally makes billions year on year, dispelling your insinuation that it is not going well.
Have fun with your culture war dogshit on twitter though, champ.
"The Luke Skywalker desired for by The Last Jedi haters is a flat, boring, and forgettable character."
No, the Luke Skywalker desired for by "Last Jedi haters" is a character who was established in over 2 decades of EU media.
A character who is the farthest thing from flat, boring and forgettable.
A character who failed MANY more times than his Last Jedi counterpart, yet never gave up hope.
This is a character who refused to strike down Vader, an evil warlord who killed many, because he still believed there was good in him. But in the The Last Jedi they would have us believe he would kill his own nephew in his sleep because of some bad dreams?
Fucking please.
The Last Jedi was a character assassination, plain and simple.
The Luke Skywalker desired for by The Last Jedi haters is a flat, boring, and forgettable character.
These fans want a Luke Skywalker who has never lost. Never failed. Never faltered. Never doubted.
He’s a video game character from the 90’s before video games started telling truly interesting stories.
His biggest setbacks would have only come from some bigger, more powerful enemy who nearly defeats him in combat until Luke finds some new Force ability that helps defeat the enemy before it’s too late.
But the Luke Skywalker gifted to us in The Last Jedi is truly interesting because the enemy he is forced to defeat is the enemy within. His doubt. His failure. His insecurity.
@ReproductiveSex@stardream61016 The WiiU would have never existed if they chased graphical power either.
Delusional to think a handheld hybrid like the Switch would have materialised if they chased graphical power.
