@Seyren I’m about $600 deep. I got to 16.3k on Cloud. After bad groups who didn’t play right, or being outmatched by 2k-10k power, I accepted this game is fucked.

I deleted it yesterday. This game doesn’t have the design or operational plans that would give it any longevity.

I’m done with #DDFF for good. It has potential but they fucking suck copious dick at coding and execution. It’s hardcore monetized and the P2W variance is extreme.

- They have everything behind ability draws (characters, skills, growth) to force you to pay.
- They fuck you with matches you could never even hope to win due to mismatched player power scores.
-They don’t have a character skill model in place so you play with retarded accounts.

It is the most stressful game I’ve ever actually stuck out because I wanted to like it. But it is a waste of time, money, and stress. I hope SE takes a financial bloodbath on it. They deserve it.

@HexenVexen I recall they have a server hardware update and modernization plan, really beefing things up for a longer haul. Hopefully that resolves these issues. Quetzalcoatl is not this busy but it would be fun to see all servers poppin’ like it’s 2004 again!

@Spaerlich_ @ArikGenerick In modern FFXI, you’ll be done with Snippers in like 20 minutes and head to Qufim (18-24), then Lower Delkfutts Tower (24-32), then Crawlers Nest (32-42), Escha Zitah (42-83), and finally Ceizak (83-99).

Trusts & streamlined leveling path lol almost done capping all the jobs 😂

The skill chain chart is cumbersome. Just get used to it as time goes on.

Make sure you get Shantotto II from the login campaign.

Until the end of the week, you can get limited availability adventurer appreciation trusts as well. They are in a treasure chest in the main cities. In Bastok, it is by the fountain near the auction house in the Markets. You can claim Aldo, Kupofried, Fablinx, and I think maybe 1 other? And some cool looking level 1 gear.

Yes macro’s are essential to FFXI! It’s too many menus to navigate and you can make mistakes. You can set macros for:

- Gear swapping for situational benefits
- Casting abilities, weapon skills and magic
- Calling out actions to party members
- Summoning static trust parties
