@helloisthisjojo Essentially completing his coming-of-age. Like.. person who guided him through his old life is gone, and Zuko now has to enter his new one without a parent or mentor standing beside him, only guided by whatever lessons he internalized.

@helloisthisjojo It would suck for me personally because I do like his character, but it would be a very compelling storytelling choice. It would symbolize Zuko’s transition into his new life as a ruler + the end of his childhood and sever the main connection to his exile.
