Happy #EarthDay🌍! I will be celebrating by learning about amazing women who have been writing about nature and “shap[ing] how we see the natural world”
Excellent 1st day of the Nordic environmental ethics Winter Symposium 2021! Great variety of presentations and fascinating discussions. My presentation was on a Nordic perspective on ecological restoration. #nordicenvethics#nsu
What a lovely Friday treat was delivered today. This is a book I would wholeheartedly recommend! So important during the time of ecological and biodiversity crisis. #EcologicalJustice#AnnaWienhues
Many of us are currently trying to educate ourselves and others, including me and @lisawhiting_. So, with the generous support of Professor Anita L. Allen, the Angela Davis chapter from The Philosopher Queens is now available for all, free of charge

Happy Earth Day! 🌎I might not be able to go to nature under the current circumstances but will bring nature to me by rereading Aldo Leopold’s magnificent A Sand County Almanac. #EarthDayAtHome
Today I presented my paper "#Sami Sustainability #Virtue & Traditional Ecological Knowledge" at the 2019 #Congress for Doctoral Students in #Philosophy. Good Q&A, which started with comments by @TeeaKort and then more questions from the audience! #Samivirtue#SamiTEK
Great start to the 2019 Congress for Doctoral Students in Philosophy @TampereUni. Excellent variety of presentations ranging from Sami sustainability virtues to Gödel’s functional interpretation. Got some great feedback on my presentation on nature’s right to be restored.
There’s a brutal battle for my attention: beautiful Finnish nature vs a conference paper I’m working on the rights of nature... Finnish nature wins every time.
@PhilosophyNow is celebrating Mary Midgley alongside her family this Saturday with an afternoon of intense debate and discussion of her ideas and their influence on the world.
