They had a dress code rule that hair could not stick out more than 4 inches from the scalp, claimed it was to prevent mohawks but inevitably banned natural black hair #exposemitty

Mitty's "immersion trips" are straight voluntourism bullshit used to make themselves look good. White students who go on those trips come back with instagram pics of them "helping" South African kids, etc. and are placed on a pedestal for being model students. #exposemitty

Around the same time, I was going to be a part of one of Mitty's "immersion trips." Once the school found out about my mental health problems, they kicked me off the trip because I "wasn't fit" and "was a risk to myself and others" that they didn't want to deal with.

Made a twitter just to help #exposemitty... Junior year I was hospitalized for being suicidal and was out of school for a week. Mr. Fallis argued with and insulted my mom when she called the attendance office saying that I didn't have a valid excuse to miss school.
