Please let today be a reminder that our favourite drivers (no matter the category) put their lives at risk every time they get into a car whether that be GT3 racing or F1.
Let’s respect drivers for their sacrifices that they make to deliver us with the racing we love.
A driver has been killed racing today, another 6 drivers are hospitalized.
I wish everyone remembered this when we're tearing at each other on here. Very real, very terrible things can happen to drivers in motorsport.
This isn't football where they're chasing balls around on a field, these guys are literally putting their lives in danger every time they get on a track and we're lucky to get to watch them do it.
Wishing drivers would crash, wishing they would die is genuinely shitty in the type of sport where that really does happen.
It's a sad day in racing and a reminder of what it all means. My heart hurts for all those grieving.
You don’t have to support abortion. You’re allowed to feel uneasy about it. You can dislike it. You can wrestle with it. Those emotions are yours.
But if your real goal is fewer abortions, that starts with prevention.. comprehensive sex ed, affordable birth control, and healthcare that reduces unintended pregnancies.
What isn’t okay is shaming or dehumanizing someone for their decision. You don’t get to strip away someone’s rights because their choice makes you uncomfortable. Your personal feelings don’t override another person’s control over their own body.
You don’t have to agree with abortion.
You do have to respect a woman’s right to make that decision safely and legally.
We can live without AI. what we cannot live without is fresh water, farmers, agriculture, land. stop supporting ai because it is destroying our planet.
you can play in the nhl if you’re a rapist and an abuser but flip off the camera one time and they’ll hang you in the town square. absolute fucking joke of a league
At 19 I was told pregnancy would probably kill me, but denied a tubal ligation because I might change my mind and want kids.
At 22 I needed regular blood transfusions but was denied a hysterectomy because I meet “meet a man who wants kids”.
This is misogyny in medicine.
Australia enacted gun control laws in 1996 after 35 people were killed in a shooting. It only took ONE shooting for politicians to protect their citizens and implement gun control. They immediately saw a sharp decline in homicide and suicide rates via guns. This is the first mass shooting Australia has had in decades.
Since 2014 almost SIX THOUSAND people have died from mass shootings in the US. Don’t you dare use this tragedy to try and insinuate gun control does not work. More guns is never the solution.
Yup. He’s up to 11 pounds. They have to transfer him to another hospital for because the current hospital he’s at cannot meet his complex needs. The family is 100% responsible for the cost even tho the state forced them to keep that poor woman “alive” as a human incubator.
No news outlet is covering this, you know why? Because the fucking experiment on a black woman’s body has FAILED miserably. The only updates are from grandma’s go fund me. They let that woman die for a clump of cells (she was only 9 weeks pregnant at the time) that’s not even doing ok 6 months later. 6 months is a long time to be in nicu!
Adriana Smith is her name. I am so sorry the state did this to you. You were a 30 year old nurse with a kid who was already here who needed you. The state failed you, the very hospital that you worked at who was so supposed to help you failed you…everybody failed you.
Listen to me
If you read that groupchat you know they’re guilty
If you wanna do this devils advocate bullshit just block me
I don’t want the opinion of somebody who doesn’t know the difference between acquitted and not guilty
This point would be sensible except for one small problem. Most rape doesn’t happen in a dark alley at 3am. It happens in people’s homes, in schools, work places, social gatherings etc. And the perpetrator is often not a stranger but someone known by the victim.
