"Be courageous enough to bring your vibrant Asian heritage, your diasporic journeys, your cultural dissonance, and your racial realities into one place and remain committed there."

When I’m preparing a sermon I’m often thinking about 3 core clarifying questions:
1. What must be said about our fallen human condition?
2. What must be said about the gracious action of God-in-Christ?
3. What must be said about the our response to God’s gracious initiative?
"For God is not merely mending, not simply restoring a status quo. Redeemed humanity is to be something more glorious than unfallen humanity."-C.S. Lewis
@pistolpig3 I pray for a day like that bro! But until that day, we cannot ignore humanity’s propensity to weaponize race. But there is good news amidst that conversation
Revelation reminds us “The future is not up for grabs. The future is not a matter of chance. Our future is Jesus. The how, when, where, are important, but nothing compared to the Who: Jesus.” @ReneBreuel expositing at @UrbanaMissions#Urbana18
