@SummrWrites I’m not sure where this South African lives, but I’ve lived in 4 cities in SA And that fuel station setup isn’t remarkable. Also trucks aren’t just 24/7 robbed in every area. 100% would never come near a bridge at night though. Also the druggies, homeless and trash are a point.
@AndreMSlade@DisprinXtra I’m interested to see how you show this from the biblical text. Please show further how Adam as blue eyed progenitor (asserted not proven) means anything when he’s the first man from whom all men descend.
“If Satan took over Philadelphia, all the bars would be closed. Pornography banished. Pristine streets would be filled with tidy pedestrians who smiled at each other. There would be no swearing. The children would say, yes sir and no ma'am, and the churches would be full every Sunday where Christ is not preached.” - Michael Allen

@thisisfoster It’s also coupled with what looks like a game of “least charitable take possible”. Party x does a thing and the other side assumes the absolute worst possible motive. It’s angering to watch Christian men behave like politicians jockeying.
@merelyjwright I guess in bigger churches with many elders, some wouldn’t preach. They still teach though… and the congregation is still instructed by scripture to submit to them. Not sure how women can hold that office even if they don’t preach. So it’s a stupid and unbiblical idea.¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@bendellwerry REACH-SA a denom in SA recognizes women as “Deacons” exactly for this reason. To give due recognition to women who have accreditation. Those “Deacons” don’t fulfill the biblical office of deacon, they perform children and women’s ministry roles in the church.
all my tens and tens of followers know I only post critical information. If you are going to sample South African snacks, and you want to try rusks and you don't dunk them in coffee you. are. doing. it. wrong.
