@rjchoppy A boycott is needed. It could break the FIFA monopoly or help reform the whole institution.FIFA is a non profit organization. It has enough money already & could distribute it to all associations.
W/PE investment they open the door for more changes that make the game worse
@JustTheGuy_1@PeakSxnti If UEFA boycotts the WC, would players from other confederations playing for european clubs be allowed to play in the WC? They are employed by the clubs not the national teams.
Who would play the WC? My guess is the quality of the tournament would be bad
@NollyNolls It is a very romantic thought, that the small confederations will receive economic incentives to grow the game locally. The Experience has shown, that Money will be Lost mostly through corruption and wont Help grow the game.
You could argue, FIFA has already the Money w/o investors
@JosephApont@leftsidedprob@Bd_irB_ll And all moroccon players Play in UEFA Clubs. Do you think they will have permission to Play in a boycott? The WC will be then Not only played without european nations but also without the players playing in Europe. And yes the clubs give permission to Play with national team.
@JosephApont@Bd_irB_ll It has also mayor implications with club football, where the players are employed. National competitions are also important for Uefa but their biggest pull comes from the Clubs. The players will side with the Clubs, because they pay their salaries, and in Europe you can earn more.
@yungdaveGH@Dave17054640373@SkySportsNews You have an AC Milan badge in your title picture. Where do you think they play. And what will happen If FIFA then blocks the players who play for UEFA Clubs for their competitions. With which side will they Stick? Problaby with the Club that pays their salary. WC would be a joke
@JosinaAnderson He's washed. Argentina played with 9 against spain the Last 30 minutes. He's great against Jordania and Algier, thats why He plays in the MLS. He should retire.
