@JohFredriksson To be fair, han har inte haft en spelfördelare till han sedan Camper. Likt Cehlarik kommer man inte få ut Veronneaus maxpotential om man har inte en spelare som kan skapa åt honom.
@RachelKryshak Canucks should aswell! And a lot of other NHL organisations.. But would be hell of a statement to bring in Brackett for the Canucks. A great PR move and would be a good move for Ryan Johnson showing that he is his own guy and bring back an guy that past regimes didn't want.
@canuckshotpuck@ThomasDrance There's a player, a swedish player, very similar to Benson in his draft year this draft btw. Viggo Björck, a top 5 player, projected to get drafted in the 10ths. Just like Benson who was a top5 player in his draft (and also Kosta Helenius in his draft year btw), drafted in 10ths.
@canuckshotpuck@ThomasDrance Nationality nor size should never be a factor, especially on top of the draft. Canucks priority has been all wrong IMO. They've gone for physical traits/positional need on top of the draft when you really should go for elite skill, best player available on top of the draft.
@Trekronorse Hallam är så fast i rollfördelningtänket därav ingen Frondell med i ordinarie laget. Vilket är helt fel tänk och så ur tiden såsom hockey spelas idag på högsta nivå.

@WJCrankings Top 5 talent but cus of size drafted 13th. There's another guy like that in this years draft. Björck, top 5 talent. Will probably get picked around 10th cus of his size.
@ThomasDrance Yeah, feel like Habs have had the coaching edge so far (and in the Tampa series too IMO). Way quicker in making adjustments, both ingame and from game to game.
@CMDeDominicis Sad to not see Benson and Doan cook together. But kind of a must to split them and spread the wealth with how much the other lines have struggled (especially Thompson/Tuch). A switch up on the 3rd D-pair was necessary aswell. Footspeed a must against Montreal.
And there's examples around the league on the length of contracts first time GM's for rebuilding teams get. Kent Hughes 5 years, Brisebois 4 years, Verbeek 4 years, Zito 5 years.
3 years? Another sign that the Canucks doesnt fully realize the extent to how long this rebuild will take.
How are you possibly gonna evaluate Johnsons work in 3 years? Drafting, talent evaluation etc.. For ex. the only player from the 24 draft to play min 100 games is Celebrini
Johnson only has a 3 year deal and it doesn't pay much according to Dhaliwal.
"Economics played a role here whether the Canucks want to admit it or not."
