Another animistic beachcomber from Portsmouth! What are the chances?! Something on those beaches must be trying to make itself known... lovely work here by Callum James.
Digital concept images for an idea I have been gestating for a long time.
An animist exhibition/ritual space called "Small Gods".
Blurring the difference between museum and temple. None taller than 12"
(Photos are of actual objects.)
Chiharu Shiota's installations @haywardgallery are the most impressive I've seen for decades; by turns joyful, moving, entrancing, and gothic. Worth a visit.

Love this by @rlgransden and @Sean_Kilpatrick;rooting around in the post-apocalyptic neo-medieval oneiric. As she did with"Figures Crossing..."(also really worth getting) Gransden continually swerves both linguistic and thematic cliché to deliver something new and interesting;1/2
Excited to present The Undead Shepherdess and Further Cavities, a collaboration with @Sean_Kilpatrick.
Poetic replies to a selection of woodcuts from bygone centuries.
Released today in hardcover by @PigPublishing: https://t.co/WN2UUGhkyb
Look at these lovely kurinuki pieces by the excellent @DrHarrietRidley! More ceramic gorgeousness from her studio in North Wales here: https://t.co/8fREfp9Kdw
@DragonFireIdeas Well, I suppose we might gloss it as a heightening of the redemptive arc, at least for Ares; but I'm more surprised, albeit with my limited reading of the Greek classics, that they think Greek gods change their minds about anything 🙂
@DragonFireIdeas I certainly agree with you that it was a story that lacked nuance in places (though that may just be because any nuance was lost in the spectacle for me!), but I'm not sure I went expecting it anyhow 🙂
@DragonFireIdeas Well, it's a very British way of 'gassing it up'. I liked your video, especially the take on the Abyss. However, I respectfully disagree with you that it isn't timely -
@DragonFireIdeas Indeed, even though I've worked in AI, and AI ethics for 30 years, I actually think it's a more important message. As for why I'm suggesting this... free Disneyland tickets, obviously; but when they open one in rural northern England.🙂All the best.
@DragonFireIdeas external and supported evil that is conquered. In that sense I think it's a valuable if simple message for America today: that misgivings need reflection, mistakes can be forgiven, and that there is always space to fight the good fight and for redemption whatever your past
@NatRaybould@kitkatclubLDN@MTavolieri15 It really was - she started off amazing and just built and built to that astonishing final solo. Indeed, there were a lot of stand-out performances in that cast. Have to say, the thing itself hits harder and harder on return to it; just seems more important by the day...
Saw @kitkatclubLDN#Cabaret again last night and @MTavolieri15 absolutely knocked it out of the park. Would be great to see her get a longer run soon: point-perfect acting and stunning vocal dynamism.
