I’ve been making good progress on emulating Switch 2 games on the Steam Deck, and I am now opening up my fork for people to use and contribute to!

Emulating for the Steam Deck is particularly difficult because there is no VRAM, the GPU can only use 8GB and a game needs 7+GB on its own.

I’ve been working on this solo since friday. In that time upstream (Eglantine) has moved fast with a team of devs, and while I’ve pulled a lot of their progress, this is a specialized effort for the device, so the emulator will have some regressions (although it is better for the deck!!)

That why I prefer a more human approach like indies and enjoy everywhere with my Steam Deck.

The Steam Deck support is still very experimental and unstable, just wait some days let's the devs improving that.

Comme ça, ça me laisse une semaine d'avis et de bugfix.
