A fantastic afternoon meeting my new volunteer Ken. Together we will run the first group in #Wyre supporting people with early on set #Dementia. Our hope is to use this area for our members health and wellbeing delivering a green care project! @yourMHA @LancashireCC

Pizza Party incoming! A very kind donation by Morrisons Blackpool means our residents at @yourMHA Starr Hills will enjoy a night of making their own pizzas in the coming weeks. I can’t wait to see the photos of their creations.

Fab day self reflecting and working as a team on how we enable performance within ourselves and those around us. I love face to face training and @yourMHA have supported my induction with so many positive experiences. Investing in staff is number one here and it really shows!

We have 2 new dates added. The #Poulton Pals will take place on 26th June and 3rd July. This will be a peer supportive group and we welcome everyone to join in and make this a positive and vibrant experience for all with early on set Dementia. @yourMHA

Great meeting today with the Blackpool Central West PCN team, discussing all things Dementia. With every meeting we are getting closer to our goal of a fully collaborative community approach to delivering our service. So far its been an amazing #DementiaActionWeek for us!

Visited the Forget me not cafe today in Blackpool, such a warm and friendly atmosphere. We sang, played tambourine and watered some plants. Friendship and connection is their priority and I definitely felt that! Watch this space for a new group opening up in Wyre soon!
