@1874Gazette I'm not sure if he's out of favour, he had 2nd most minutes from anyone in last year (utilised heavily in the league)

Maybe out of favour, in the fact that they want the Marquinhos experience for CL, but I'm not sure other than that?

[The Claret Lion @LionClaret]

Self love, got to support it!

[The Claret Lion @LionClaret]

@villa_woody1000 Have to agree, he would have to extremely generous & sentimental (almost beyond logic) - which I don't believe he will be. Otherwise it wouldn't make sense for us...

[The Claret Lion @LionClaret]

@AvfcRyan44261 @villareport @DiMarzio I get what you're saying, but I'd bump fab a bit down on that list

[The Claret Lion @LionClaret]

@villareport @FabrizioRomano Love it! Don't get it, at all... But love it!

[The Claret Lion @LionClaret]

@J_Tanswell Fantastic news!

In other current events, anything you can share on Goretzka or Zirkzee?

[The Claret Lion @LionClaret]

@AdzAgain "Was hoping we’d aim higher than the championship" - regardless of if I agree with this transfer or not this criteria has a very broad stroke.

Then you would not agree with Konsa, Olise, Rogers, Watkins - the list goes on...

[The Claret Lion @LionClaret]

@upsdwnwrld @theavfcfaithful I get the point you are going for but I couldn't get it into words, I do think it's the fact we've looked at it positionally for the transfers we need and he offers the least amount of comprises comparatively

[The Claret Lion @LionClaret]

@villanousvoicez @TransferSector @J_Tanswell I'm wondering for SCR, do you think there's a big boy around the corner?

Given we have currently ~110m transfer deficit - even with loan fees, agent fees, Ruggeri, Suzuki, surely there is wiggle room for a 'statement' signing?
(Maybe not Manzambi level but Gomes level fee wise)

[The Claret Lion @LionClaret]

@theavfcfaithful Wonder if this is where Arsenal scouts get their valuation from 😅

[The Claret Lion @LionClaret]

@Valentine06 @theavfcfaithful I don't actually believe this at all, but I more mean claiming it was worsened during the world cup leading to prolonged period out & thus should be covered. Then a move in the Winter window?

We can be a bit of a chancer from time to time...

[The Claret Lion @LionClaret]

@AVFCStatto Can he play up top?

Arsenal and Morgan Rogers will decide what he’s worth. Villa on admin duty to sign papers and that’s it.

[The Claret Lion @LionClaret]

This saga sums up why #AFC fans get the stereotype they do.

Most #AVFC fans accept Morgan Rogers would & may join Arsenal - they're a bigger club by almost every metric.

But the inability to grasp that the seller sets the price is baffling.

(Plenty of exceptions on both sides)

[The Claret Lion @LionClaret]

I think we will get Tammy Abraham, Milot Rashica & Jota Silva as an always linked meal deal from Besiktas #avfc

@BennAVFC Discovered AFTVs studio:

[The Claret Lion @LionClaret]

@theavfcfaithful @elonmusk Don't listen to people in the replies (fucking obviously), I'm quite ashamed of the closed minded opinions of other Villa fans here.

[The Claret Lion @LionClaret]

@LoveMcGrathpod But reported sequentially which is where I assume the error came from

[The Claret Lion @LionClaret]

@LoveMcGrathpod Checked the YouTube video which I assume is where it came from:

The news was repeating about Malen negotiations for the past few weeks, but Gittens was being scouted by the "Big 6" mainly for summer- including Liverpool and Chelsea (I don't really remember but I think these two)
