@paleochristcon I've mainly been impressed with the presentation. What it lacks gameplay wise is easily being made up for in how much it feels like you're playing a Bond film.

@ErickWeber Tonally Hokum was so different from The Shining that I wasn't thinking about it at all. One of the best movies of the year thus far, and probably my favorite horror flick since "Bring Her Back" (which is an underrated masterpiece so obviously far superior to "Hokum").

@ErickWeber First 1/3 had me ready to give this an A+ but it kinda lost me by the end. Cool mix of Kill Bill and Wes Anderson though. Wish they'd have scored the whole thing like an old Argento movie though as it sounded great.

@ErickWeber Erick, wtf are you talking about? An entire aspect of the film is a pump fake based on the characters attraction to each other. They cast her because she's attractive. You're right 90% of the time but when you're not you whiff spectacularly.

@ErickWeber I loved Ad Astra, but the narration that seemed like it was added in post because the studio thought their audience is would be too stupid to understand it REALLY hurt the film. It's certainly not for "deep thinkers." Lol

@itsjdx Just texted a friend from the theater that it's probably the worst thing I've seen in a movie in the last decade. Absolutely horrific. Not a single redeeming quality.
