Since yesterday, some of my colleagues have noticed the option for GBP profile verification via email. This is good, especially for hotels in the construction phase hoping to open reservations 1y/6m in advance. Email verification is a smoother process compared to video verificat.

It's a pretty interesting feature to keep the results updated, though It increases the chance for abuse, and Google's workload will go through the roof.
