I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation.
I will not be silenced.
Brenden Cuni, an ICE supervisor, has been accused of excessive force and tackling a pregnant woman to the ground. Several of his arrests were later found to be unlawful in federal court. https://t.co/KPFOp0kpSW
Julián Curo-Churata, a 47-year-old father of 2 from Laurel, MD, died in ICE custody last month.
Julián was the 37th person to die in ICE detention in the past year.
There must be a full independent investigation into his death. Not another dime for this lawlessness.
Never forget that David Ellison's Skydance Media was originally created so he could be an actor.
Skydance's first film was 'Flyboys' starring James Franco and... David Ellison. David and his daddy invested $60m to make Flyboys.
It grossed $17m
Here's a bit of David's acting:
Wow Jake thanks for boosting the moral and intellectual authority on Palestine that is “witness in Trump’s first impeachment”. I wonder if this is in fact a thinly veiled way for you to promote your own clear-as-day editorial opinion while maintaining the illusion of objectivity?
yeah the lesson is, if you oppose israel and have a muslim name - every liberal consultant will lean into the republican attacks to try to present you an islamist jihadist. we knew that lesson already!
Referring to genocide as a “zeitgeist-y issue” is shockingly glib and shows how much “Gaza” remains a perceived leftwing neurosis or boutique hangup to our media class rather than a grave war crime leveled against real humans who’ve lost real loved ones w/ full and complete lives
#BREAKING | After nine months in ICE detention, including four in solitary confinement, Martín Soto has finally been released.
Soto's case had made national headlines after he helped lead a hunger and labor strike at Delaney Hall over the center's inhumane conditions. Soto's wife, Gabriela had helped organize solidarity protests outside Delaney Hall for weeks, demanding better conditions and the release of detainees.
While this hearing didn't proceed, it's clear the Trump admin is continuing what a judge has called a "vindictive prosecution" of Kilmar Abrego Garcia.
As I said from day 1, if they can do this to Kilmar, they can do it to anyone.
We'll keep fighting this political persecution.

ICE deported Wendy Hernandez Reyes to Honduras without her 3-year-old U.S. citizen son, Orlin. Wendy says she repeatedly begged ICE to let her take him; weeks later, Orlin was dead.
Authorities say the relative caring for him subjected him to horrific abuse, including broken bones, burns, signs of sexual battery, and at least 17 blows to the head. He has been charged with murder and pleaded not guilty.
ICE then publicly accused Wendy of “abandoning” her child. She says she never did.
Now lawmakers have introduced Orlin’s Law, named after her son, which would restrict ICE from detaining or deporting parents and primary caregivers unless they pose a public-safety threat.
An American citizen shot by a federal agent one year ago during an immigration crackdown in Chicago has filed suit against the federal government, alleging the agent lied about the shooting and had fired into her vehicle from behind.

Wages are at all-time lows, and profits at historic highs, as a percent of GDP.
The backlash against A.I. is a backlash against unchecked inequality.
My @nytopinion Chart:
El Salvador has continued imprisoning deportees sent from the U.S., including many who have not been charged with any crime. They have disappeared into the country’s black hole of a correctional system, where lawyers can’t locate them.

New: The government doesn’t track how often immigration officers detain U.S. citizens. So ProPublica did. We’ve found more than 500 Americans who were held against their will during this Trump administration. https://t.co/yx9mK0sBlN
Julian Curo-Churata, a 47-year-old from Peru, died in ICE custody in Louisiana on September 29. He was the 37th person to die in ICE detention in fiscal 2026, the deadliest year on record. The records show more than the coverage so far.

🎥 WATCH: On Feb 28, Tomahawk missiles struck a school in Minab, killing at least 156 people, including 120 children — one of the gravest U.S. war crimes since Vietnam.
@jeremyscahill, @MazMHussain & @SayahTweets spent two months speaking with survivors. This is their story.
NEW: A Federal judge just ruled that a warrantless Flock/ALPR search violated a woman's 4th Amendment rights!
"Why is it the government's business where everyone goes all the time?"
"Freedom from persistent, dragnet-style surveillance while in public is not a foreign concept in our society, and it is a reasonable expectation that society already accepts"
Judge Sara Hill (N.D. Oklahoma) notes other courts, including in Oklahoma, ruled the other way on Flock searches. She argues that a decision from 1983 shouldn't govern 2026 networks of what she calls "indiscriminate mass surveillance."
"This Court is now faced with technology that appears to be approaching the dragnet type law enforcement practice Mr. Knotts warned of."
Setting up for an interesting fight in circuit court if the government appeals.

BREAKING: The Supreme Court has agreed to rule on the legality of ICE's mandatory detention policy, weighing in on an issue that has been ovewhelmingly rejected by district and appeals courts but has nevertheless roiled the justice system nationwide.
