let me repost this with more context. This is a doc about a group of people who were responsible for a lot of drama in the madness community a bit ago, it has insiders info most people don't know.

I talked to SOMIEDIC about the situation and gained a better understanding of their side and struggles. I apologized for the either, misguided, wrong, or cruel actions of people on our part, myself included. And I apologized for not handling things properly or sooner.
SOMIEDIC, within their complete right, denied this and gave me a long doc explaining why they wouldn't do it and how they felt, they blocked me before I could respond, which I expected. So instead I'm posting what was supposed to be my response here, in hopes that it ends it all.
Only here cuz I actually have some kind of platform n it's unfair that someone with nearly 1k followers can make a public statement while the person being accused will have their side of the story barely seen by ppl, logging off again
As of right now I'm abandoning this account.
I just very nearly lost a good friend because of the bullshit drama and some specific people in this fandom and I'm tired of it, this account gives me nothing but negative emotions and memories.
@hansvanharken Gotcha, /that's/ something that can be done.
But in order to do that, terms like neurodivergent needs to exist, and needs to be its own group in order for people to get the support and accommodations they need to better their quality of life
@hansvanharken You can't "grow" out of a disorder, it's a part of you and it always will be, that's just how it is
Of course that doesn't mean that things can't get better, of course they can, it's just better to accept that you may struggle more than others
@hansvanharken yes of course, I agree, but no matter how many adjustments you make it will never remove the disorders from your life, nor will it remove the impact they have on you. You can learn to better cope with the impact, but you can't remove it
@hansvanharken for some people it IS impossible, not just very very difficult. It's literally wired into your brain, yes you can find ways to work through it and deal with it, but that does not stop it from impacting your everyday life entirely
@hansvanharken I understand that! I also have ADHD and Dyslexia, but for some people it's impossible to not be held back because it impacts every part of their life, for example, people on the autism spectrum, or those with PTSD, they can't really just turn off their flashbacks
@hansvanharken Please do not call them features! They very much impact people's abilities to function normal in society and make life extremely difficult for many, they're not features
