1. New Website & Functionality

☑️Mr. Telecom dropped a Wiz Khalifa meme under the new logo post on X, hinting at a black & yellow theme.

☑️The upcoming website launch will provide a clear, simplified explanation of World Mobile's mission and services.

Certain features are still undergoing audits and will not be available in the initial release. However, a phased rollout will introduce additional features over time.

The web app will eventually integrate all dashboards, including staking functionalities.

A key feature will allow other projects to launch MVNOs on top of WMC, enabling companies and people to create their own carriers with minimal effort and backup from World Mobile's expertise.

Mr. Telecom and his team have been working in shifts to ensure the website launch by early next week (Monday-Wednesday), with 25-30 people dedicated to the project.

2. Major Announcement & Growth Strategy

🔥Mr. Telecom leaked some alpha about an upcoming joint announcement within the next two weeks, calling it a first for the partnering company, a well known name, and a significant credibility boost

The 2025 objective is to grow to millions of customers in the U.S., with the first few thousand enjoying exclusive early offers.

The initial rollout will include 1,000 available spots, likely to be taken by the core community.

A structured marketing campaign will follow, supported by affiliate and referral schemes for SIMs, AirNodes, and staking.

Mr. Telecom envisions explosive growth, defining 20M users as "okay," but 100M as "unstoppable" towards the goal of connecting 1 Billion people world wide.

3. Strategic Partnerships & Expansion

☑️DITO Partnership: While the community has embraced it, the broader crypto space has yet to grasp its full impact. The introduction of 13M paying users will demonstrate its significance once live on world mobile chain.

☑️SCW Partnership: Potential reach of 1.3 billion users, including 70M in the U.S., with meetings scheduled by the end of February.

🔥Expansion into Markets through Hex Guardian auctions : Mr. Telecom confirmed that the initial HEX Guardian rollout will begin in March, with auctions in April that will remain open until all HEXs in the country are sold out. The first phase will include the U.S., Pakistan, parts of Tanzania, parts of Nigeria, part of Malawi, and Mozambique.

🔥The U.S. market offers a significantly higher ARPU ($87 vs. $4-8 in emerging markets), making it a critical expansion area.

World Mobile is seeing increased data consumption in small towns in the regions that were previoulsy unconnected, correlating with higher possible future revenues from these regions

🔥Buybacks are already in place, and revenue is expected to rise sharply as more services go live and users from the USA will onboard

5. Staking & Service Packages + question on expansion to Australia

☑️World Mobile community member @ColeSumrall1 asked about U.S. pricing, and Mr. Telecom confirmed it will range from $40 to $100 per month.

Users will have several packages, including a global plan with customizations possible.

Mr Telecom responded also that as more airnodes get deployed, @WorldMobileTeam will depend less on partners, thus optimalising margins, but this will lead not a price race to the bottom. World mobile wants to focus on customer delight.

☑️@Spideyman_616 asked about Liverpool’s Premier League prospects, and Mr. Telecom confidently predicted a quadruple victory , after having survived some tough times as a Reds fan.

@Spideyman_616 also asked when HEXs will be available in Australia. Mr. Telecom confirmed discussions are progressing rapidly, with unlicensed and shared spectrum options being explored.

6. Upcoming Airnodes release

🔥A Spark AirNode release is scheduled for next week, with confirmation on volume to follow, but expected to be in the thousands

7. US Crypto policies

The team is focusing heavily on the U.S. rollout due to favorable regulatory conditions by the new government in place.

🔥Due to the current administration's favorable stance on crypto, Mr. Telecom expects significant news in the next 3–4 weeks. Someone closely associated with World Mobile is advising the new administration ( 'who o who ☺️') , which could be advantageous. With World Mobile being the only crypto DePIN mobile network operator (MNO) in the USA, the timing appears to be aligning perfectly.

8. World Class Team

🔥Manoj Kohli, an experienced telecom executive and advisor to World Mobile, recently called on other operators via a post on his LinkedIn to engage with the company after the DITO partnership announcement. Mr. Telecom confirmed that major MNOs (Mobile Network Operators) are already aware of World Mobile due to its aerostat launches. Currently, 2-3 countries are set to adopt the sharing economy model, though the exact timeline is beyond their control as business development progresses.

As the former head of SoftBank, Manoj Kohli has extensive industry influence, maintaining direct connections with top Telecome CEOs. At SoftBank, he successfully guided multiple companies to unicorn status, understanding how to build strong foundations for scalable success. His philosophy emphasizes ambition, urging companies to aim for critical mass and market dominance.

@Rob_LLAP highlighted that World Mobile’s advisory board and team is of world-class caliber, including top experts in telecom and business. Notably, the father of Emma Watkins, known from Harry Potter, is a major figure in the business world and serves on the board. The level of expertise guiding World Mobile is remarkable, and what’s visible to the public is just the tip of the iceberg—there is much happening behind the scenes.

9. Open Mic community

During the call, @MAV100_ADA provided insights into the number of subscribers and pricing improvements to complement the question asked by @ColeSumrall1 . He explained that once the subscriber count reaches 2,000, the cost of e-SIMs drops by approximately one dollar per subscriber. This cost reduction allows more revenue to flow into the sharing economy. He also noted that pricing structures vary and highlighted this as an example for the community.

@MAV100_ADA elaborated on the necessity of launching their own ISP, citing revenue considerations as the primary reason. He emphasized that operating an ISP requires carrier-grade equipment, which involves significant investment. However, by launching their own service, they were able to access more affordable carrier-grade solutions, making the operation more cost-effective.

Additionally, Mav100 introduced and pitched an idea to the community , pointing out that telecom customers often seek bundled services, such as TV, landlines, and internet. To address this demand, they would like to expand into multiple service areas, including fixed wireless, fiber optics, and television. The goal was to offer also TV services while managing the high costs of the necessary equipment. To offset these costs, they explored the World Mobile grant program, which could provide financial support for acquiring equipment and improving service offerings. This approach would enable them to offer more competitive bundled services while channeling additional revenue into the sharing economy. They also aim to roll out these services on a national scale with their partners.

Regarding CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) and infrastructure associated setup, Mav100 shared his personal experience. He explained that the process hinges on the type of user equipment and the interface being used. The first time he set up the system, it took him five to six days to get everything working. However, after gaining experience, he streamlined the process, reducing it to just five minutes for application and another five minutes to begin broadcasting.

10. Cardano ecosystem

Mr. Telecom expressed his strong relationship with Iagon and ongoing discussions regarding potential collaboration.

He also congratulated the Snek community on their Kraken listing, emphasizing the importance of gaining recognition for Cardano projects.

11. Closing thoughts :

@CloverNodes highlighted the impact of the DITO partnership, bringing 13M customers on-chain and integrating a blockchain-based e-wallet on WMC Chain with a dual-token approach.
