Watch the bait-and-switch:
A) When the Bible is used to advance a “conservative” cause, it’s “evil Christian Nationalism” (that he’s spent his entire campaign decrying) or it’s “forcing your religion on other people” and must be FORECEFULLY DENOUNCED.
But when the Bible is used to advance a progressive cause, aw shucks it’s just me being Christlike, “speaking truth to power”, and seeking “justice” or “compassion.”
His whole campaign is, ”Christian Nationalism for ME, but not for THEE” and hoping you won’t notice.
B) What progressives do is take the commands Jesus gave to INDIVIDUALS and apply them to the GOVERNMENT.
When Christians use words like “caring” or “generous” they mean caring for people and being generous with their own resources.
When progressives use the words “caring” and “generous”, they mean “vote for the government to forcibly take OTHER PEOPLE’S RESOURCES at gunpoint and redistribute it against their will.”
Of course, this *always* backfires because governments do not work like people and churches, so with governments you tends to get more of what you INCENTIVIZE and less of what you PENALIZE.
This is why cities and states that throw billions of $ at “solving homelessness” end up with MORE HOMELESSNESS, they do not “solve homelessness.”
This is a theology-nerd thing, but in general progressives want the government to do the roles of the church and individual (charity, compassion, care), and they want NOBODY to do the role of the State (administer justice and be a “terror to the wrongdoer”).
^^^this always results in societal chaos and darkness.
Further…
What Talarico (and other progressives) always do is selevtively edit Jesus, so that he becomes a mascot for their cause.
I can do a “when Jesus…” list too, but James won’t like mine…
- When Jesus defined marriage, he defined it as only between a man and a woman
- When Jesus talked about gender, he rooted it in biology, saying “he made them male and female”
- When Jesus talked about harming children (abortion), he said it would be better for you to have millstone tied around your neck and be cast into the ocean
- … that time when Jesus encouraged his followers to buy weapons for self-defense (Luke 22:36)
- Jesus’ family strictly obeyed the government’s border / migration / census laws.
- When Jesus talked about salvation, he said belief in him was the ONLY WAY
- When Jesus healed the sick, he didn’t need a deductible… there were no insurance companies in AD 30, and Jesus was using miraculous power, not paying doctors. This would be like an anti-vaxxer saying “JESUS WASNT VACCINATED!” as justification for their position)
- When Jesus fed the hungry, he FED THE HUNGRY. He did not vote for the government to forcibly take other people’s stuff at gunpoint and redistribute it against their will.
I could go on and on and on and on…
The point is, Jesus is a LORD of the universe, not a MASCOT for your cause.

The OFFICIAL preview with Josh Howerton.
“Why is Christianity the one religion that is totally acceptable to disparage? The Bible says the whole world lies under the power of the evil one. The Bible actually calls Satan the little-g god of this world. There’s this tacit assumption throughout the entire Bible that Satan is really over all of the world systems. And that’s why everything in the world aligns against one thing in particular: Christianity, Christ, and Christians.”
@howertonjosh
Gay surrogacy and gay adoption are predicated on the idea that gay men (or women) have a “right” to become parents. This idea is not only morally insane but also logically incoherent. It’s exactly like jumping off a building and claiming that you have the right to fly. Nobody has the right to defy the laws of nature. Where would such a right even originate? Two men cannot be parents. It’s impossible. Doesn’t matter how they feel or what they want. It cannot be. The only “right” at issue here is the right of the child. And the child has a right to be raised by a mother and a father, not two men masquerading as mother and father.

RE: Somalian Childcare Fraud & weaponized Christian Theology...
It's become clear that for the last ~decade aspects of Christian Theology have been twisted and weaponized to advance evil (or keep people from opposing it), and a *lot* of those examples converge in the Somalian Childcare thing:
1) "The Bible commands us to welcome the stranger" was often misappropriated by progressive Christians to max-boost immigration, oppose any immigration restrictions, and DEFINITELY to oppose any consequences for illegal immigrants.
But as has been stated before, the Bible distinguishes between the role of the individual Christians (charity for all) and the role of the State (prioritizing justice for that nation's citizens).
This is why the same Bible that commands individuals to "welcome the stranger" and "love the immigrant" also blesses a nation in building a wall to protect its borders.
And in the same way a father has a responsibility to his children that he does not have for all children, and a pastor has a responsibility to his church he does not have for all churches... the leaders of a nation have a responsibility to the citizens of that nation that they do not have to care for other nations' citizens.
2) "When he returns, Christ will gather the glory of the nations" was often used to reinforce the progressive idea that all cultures are equally glorious and to be celebrated.
"What could be wrong with importing hundreds of thousands of Somalians? Yes, they're different but all human cultures are equally glorious, they just possess different glories."
But, the reality that Christ will bring in "the glory of the nations" does not mean that all human cultures are equally glorious.
All PEOPLE are equally valuable because they're created in the image of God, but not all CULTURES are equally glorious because what a culture becomes arises from what that culture worships. If a culture is built on top of godless or demonic ideologies (like Islam), it will not be morally equal to a culture built on top of Protestant Christianity.
Islamic Somalian culture is not equal in value to (or often compatible with) Protestant Christian culture.
3) "The Bible commands us to love the poor" is (very) often used to support max-boosting welfare programs, Christians throwing tantrums against any scrutiny toward entitlement programs, and used to support socialism-lite policies (such billions of $ to blank-check "childcare facilities")
But again, the Bible distinguishes between the role of the individual, church, family, and State.
And the Bible places the primary responsibility for charity on families (1 Tim 5:8), individual Christians (Matt 25), and the church (Gal 2:10, 1 Tim 5).
There are not examples in the Bible of God commanding human governments to forcibly redistribute wealth, because with governments, "You always get more of what you incentivize and less of what you penalize."
This is why when governments max-boost welfare programs, at-scale and over time it tends to CREATE more poverty rather than SOLVING it. For example, progressive cities / states that max-boost "care for the homeless" end up with cities overwhelmed by *more* homelessness; they do not end up solving homelessness.
4) Biblical commands against partiality and prejudice are often used to make Christians more scared of being called racist or Islamophobic than they are of allowing the destruction of their society.
But honesty about cultural realities and generalizations are not "prejudice" or "phobia." In the same way that it was not wrong for the Apostle Paul to say, "Cretans tend to liars, evil brutes, and lazy gluttons" (Titus 1:12), it would also not be wrong for someone to say, "Hey, Somalian culture tends to be heavily Islamic, low-trust, and high-fraud."
And then for governments to make wise decisions based on those realities.
^^^All of this to say, YES Christians ARE absolutely commanded to welcome the stranger, care for the poor, repent of all prejudice, and the Bible does say in the New Earth Christ will gather the glory of the nations... but those things do not mean what they have often been distorted and weaponized to DO in the culture war.
Reminder that precise language matters when we are in a fight for truth.
There is no such thing as “cisgender.” There is no such thing as a “trans girl” or “trans boy.” “Gender identity” is not real. It is not possible to “transition” to the opposite sex. No one is “assigned” a sex at birth. Saying “biological” male/female implies that other kinds of males/females exist. Puberty blockers and genitalia-altering surgeries are not “gender affirming care;” they’re sterilizing, mutilating procedures.
All of us, in our own ways, have pushed our country closer to sanity on this issue. But seeing as even Amy Coney Barrett still uses this nonsensical language, we’ve still got work to do

I wanted to cancel this debate, because it was right after Charlie died and the day before his memorial. But then I remembered that this was the last real conversation CK and I had. He was such a good friend.
I took your advice, Charlie. Thanks for everything.
UPDATE WITH PHOTOS ‼️ PLEASE SHARE TO FIND THIS PSYCHO MONSTER ‼️
X Patriots, do your thing and find the horrible monster that did this to our beautiful nephew/wife‼️
You can see they loved the outdoors and hiking! Saturday was not their first time at Devil’s Den State Park.
I’ve known Clint since he was a child because I married his uncle 32 years ago.
We were at their wedding and their first baby shower. We purchased a mobile home from Clint in 2013 in another state.
He was a very nice, hard-working young man, full of life. She was the best mother to their girls and to Clint’s daughter, who is now grown.
Four words for Cristen: Beautiful/ Sweet/Strong/Loving.
At one time, she sold those paper like press on nail polishes while working, and later obtained her nursing degree!
Yet, took wonderful care of their family. So did Clint.
It’s easy to recall when he met her, how he lit up. She immediately became a great step-mom to Clint’s daughter! They were perfect for each other‼️
They weren’t on drugs. There was no jealous ex. They weren’t under witness protection or any other silly theory going around everywhere.
Imagine getting THE call and hearing such horrid news‼️ Imagine hearing the poor girls’ stories and what this will do to them‼️
Pray for my sister-in-law, Clint’s father, all siblings, Cristen’s parents, all family, and esp their three daughters‼️🙁😟😣
For more in-depth news and what the girls endured, go to YouTube->Tony Brueski. He got an interview with the dispatcher. It’ll make you cringe. We certainly did.
