Our CEO, Wole Abu at the just concluded Africa Economic Summit where he spoke about Africa's priorities in the fourth industrial Revolution. According to Wole, Africa can get its priorities right in the fourth Industrial Revolution by first unlocking capital that will bring sustainable development to the continent.
He highlighted key strategies like: Encouraging Foreign Direct Investments, Developing strong financial systems, Improving Infrastructure, Encouraging Entrepreneurship and Promoting Agriculture as the key pillars in unlocking capital for Africa's sustainability.
Wole believes that National investments should be aligned within the Sustainable Development Goals to lead Africa's journey in the fourth Industrial Revolution.
He also emphasised the need to relegislate property rights ownership so that rural dwellers in mud houses can be recognised and identified as owners of those properties regardless of their conformity with modern amenities and practices.
Wole says Africa is a fertile ground for economic sustainability, and to tap this, more investments especially in the aspect of technology is needed to promote digital transformation in the continent.
Wole says Liquid Intelligent Technologies is currently transforming lives in Africa by investing heavily in providing connectivity to people, businesses and communities even in rural areas. He says Liquid is committed to leading Africa's digital transformation journey in a way that leaves no African behind, as he highlighted its footprints across the continent especially with its over 100,000km of submarine fibre cables connecting East and West Africa. He stated that such investments will open the doorway to financial inclusion, digital literacy, better healthcare and educational systems, advancements in agriculture and an improved culture of innovation.
