Of course truck parking costs money.

The bank charges interest on the property.

The seller charged for the land.

The town charges taxes.

Insurance costs money.

Maintenance costs money.

Truckers are business owners, not civil servants entitled to free storage.

Appreciate truckers all day long, but business expenses are part of the game. Put your big boy pants on and stop crying every time parking isn’t free.

A tractor trailer takes up 1,000+ square feet. Nobody owes you that space for free.

If you find free parking or the state provides it, great. That means you did good business that day.
