One year ago i started this project. Here's one year of progress, excluding my 6-8 months break game dev.
Starting to look like a game.

@RareMetalGames Yeah, it's hard to fit the time for game dev with a full time job... My game is also a side project and i took a break from it for around 6-8 months (start of the year)...
@RareMetalGames Haha yeah, i had a long period of trying to find the right path to take this game. I think I'm on the right path now 🙂
Now, i just need to follow it to the end.
@BoosterGamesNL Hmm yeah... Tiktok is basically guaranteed almost 10x impressions on every post minimum, compared to twitter.
I don't think twitter is a good source of traffic anymore, at least not for my game :)
Why did nobody tell me that the hardest part of being a solo indie dev is to be noticed?
Building the game is literally the easy part 😳😅

@AnEmortalKid But yeah idk. I've pretty much given up on twitter. It never has and probably never will ever be a significant source of traffic for me.
I'm just playing around at this point, twitter is dead in my eyes.
@AnEmortalKid I don't think using more hashtags has any impact.
At least it never had any impact for me.
The real impact comes from paying for the checkmark these days, i guess.
@ShatterProof30 Seems to me that these days, most of the social media algorithms HIGHLY favors consistency.
Unfortuantely I (and most indies) don't have time to both deal with a job (to pay the bills), make significant development on their game and then also be consistent on social media.
