Religions are not similar nor equal in any meaningful manner. A religion whose central tenet is to forcibly convert the entire world is very different from one that forbids proselytizing. A fundamentalist Jain is one who is very committed to not harming an ant. More Jains literally implies more peace. This is not true of all faiths. Stop promulgating the idea that all religions are similar in their teachings. Nothing could be further from the truth. Freedom of religion IMPLIES freedom from any religion that seeks to remove all of your freedoms if and when in power. Wake up.

If our leadership had insisted: "The Hamas attack -and conflict in the middle east - will not be tolerated on our streets" we would have been okay.
