(Not always in this order) Mom, Playwright, Actor, Knitter, Statistician, Public Health Researcher, Sometime Marathon Runner (not lately, but maybe one more.)
@BeschlossDC My mother tells it that she was riding a tricycle on the sidewalk in front of her house with my grandmother and aunt sitting in the yard when my grandfather came out of the house to tell them all. He had been listening to the news on the radio.
@sonofmalachynyc@CharlesPPierce I hear that a lot but what does candidate quality mean? I agree that Walker was a low quality candidate, but point me to another GOP candidate in GA who had better quality. An actual person - not the hypothetical perfect candidate. Sure that person could win but do they exist?
@JoJoFromJerz Not that bad but I'll give "the worst" to my husband's cousin's wedding in Switzerland. Groom stayed up too late drinking with groomsmen the night before such that he nearly passed out during the ceremony. He had to be supported by his bride while he said I do.
@ThatEricAlper Coping strategies for moms of kids with cancer. Also - how to train for a marathon as a charity runner (as in, not very good at long distance running.) And finally - Shakespeare in performance.
@xingcat During the pandemic I told my husband to get me something absolutely ridiculous for my birthday and he bought me a square foot of Scotland. It may not be legit, but I have a fake certificate and I can make my kids refer to me as Lady Elisabeth if I want to. ;-)
