Lisa McClain

Congresswoman in MI’s 9th District. House GOP Conference Chair. Political Outsider. Job Creator and here to get things done.

The socialist wing didn’t take over the Democrat Party.

The socialist wing is the Democrat Party.

They’ve traded common sense for ideology, patriotism for grievance, and working-class voters for activist mobs.

Americans want safe streets, lower prices, secure borders, and opportunity.

The Left offers pronouns, protests, and excuses.

That’s why they’re losing the country.

[Lisa McClain @LisaForCongress]

Instead of prioritizing victims, Christina Hines was "compassionate towards the offenders" as a prosecutor,
including a criminal who committed domestic violence, sex crimes, and stalking.

And then she has the audacity to laugh about it. We can’t trust a word she says!

[RNC Research @RNCResearch]

🚨NEW

Michigan Democrat Christina Hines laughs at criminals being released early while serving as a prosecutor.

WDIV: The Sheriff said they’ve had to re-arrest people that should have been locked up...

HINES: "I actually think that it's really funny."

[Lisa McClain @LisaForCongress]

Even Biden Dems say so

[Michael LaRosa @MichaelLaRosaDC]

In my 20 years in or covering politics, I cannot recall a more obnoxious candidate.

[Lisa McClain @LisaForCongress]

Rep. Tom Barrett works incredibly hard for the great people of #MI07.

They deserve a true public servant like him in Congress!

[Tom Barrett @tombarrettmi7]

When a federal agency owes you money, you shouldn't have to fight Washington alone to get it back.

But that's where a lot of mid-Michigan families end up: on hold, buried in paperwork, waiting months for an answer. My team works those cases every day.

Since taking office, we've helped return $6.5 million to people across our district.

[Lisa McClain @LisaForCongress]

Rep. Fitzpatrick understands service and sacrifice. 🇺🇸

He fights everyday for those who run toward danger and keep us safe.

[Brian Fitzpatrick 🇺🇸 @BrianFitzUSA]

🚨 As a lifelong FBI Special Agent and Federal Prosecutor, I’ve seen firsthand the sacrifice, skill, and selfless service that the badge demands.

I am honored to have the unanimous endorsement of every single Police Officer Union and Fraternal Order of Police in our Community: The Bucks County FOP, the Montgomery County FOP, and the Philadelphia FOP. I will always stand with you, I will always fight for you, and I will always back the brave men and women in blue who protect our communities every day.

“It is our honor to endorse you for re-election to the 1st Congressional District. We look forward to continuing to work with you on issues vital to the PPFFA and our members.” —Patrick Martin, Secretary-Treasurer, PPFFA/IAFF

The PPFFA represents approximately 8,000 career firefighters, EMTs, and paramedics across Pennsylvania. I’m proud to call them friends, honored to work alongside them, and grateful for the opportunity to continue working together on behalf of the heroes who protect our community every day.

[Lisa McClain @LisaForCongress]

WATCH: Janelle Stelson will flip the script and say whatever she has to to get elected.
How could we ever trust anything she says?

[Lisa McClain @LisaForCongress]

Thank you, President Trump!

As a Central Florida businessman, Joe Strada (@VoteStrada) knows what it takes to help small businesses thrive in #FL11 and beyond! Great to be with him in the Sunshine State today.

Thank you to the @USChamber for your endorsement. I’m proud to stand with Michigan’s job creators and fight for free enterprise every day.

Lindsay James voted to weaken penalties for domestic abusers, tax seniors’ Social Security, let men enter girls’ sports and locker rooms, and keep parents in the dark. Her radical record is completely out of step with Iowa families.

[Lisa McClain @LisaForCongress]

Out on the trail in #FL07 with @RyanElijah. His years as a trusted local announcer and reporter have him a front-row seat to the issues facing Seminole and Volusia families. Now he’s ready to deliver results as their next Congressman!

[Lisa McClain @LisaForCongress]

Abdul has an anger problem. Zohran Mamdani sells the same communist agenda with a smug presentation that sometimes fools people into thinking he’s likable. Abdul is just as smug, but his personality appeals to basically nobody because he’s always yelling.

[Lisa McClain @LisaForCongress]

Great to be on the ground in #FL09 supporting @dangreenFL!

He didn’t fight extremists abroad just to watch leftist extremists here at home destroy our country. Let’s go Dan!

[Lisa McClain @LisaForCongress]

That’s a lot of stumbling for a guy suddenly trying to rebrand himself as pro-police. In 2020, Abdul El-Sayed explicitly called to “defund the police.” Now he wants voters to forget. Michiganders deserve better than this fraud candidate.

[RNC Research @RNCResearch]

Abdul El-Sayed malfunctions while attempting to say how he has worked with law enforcement:

"Working alongside law enforcement, improving the, the uh, the operations of our, um of our, uh medical examiner's office.."

[Lisa McClain @LisaForCongress]

Great to be with this winning team today!

[Lisa McClain @LisaForCongress]

I’m a job creator, not a career politician. After decades in business, I brought that mindset to Washington: cut taxes for 700,000+ Michigan small businesses, roll back burdensome rules, and put money back in the pockets of people who actually earn it.

[Lisa McClain @LisaForCongress]

Calling MAGA more radical than the Muslim Brotherhood is pure gaslighting from a Washington Post reporter. MB ideology produced Hamas, influenced al-Qaeda and ISIS leaders, and still aims for Sharia rule. El-Sayed’s family ties are confirmed by his own half-sister, his mother’s record, and his past political support for the group. He denies it anyway.

President Trump and the MAGA Movement defend constitutional freedom against exactly this kind of imported theocratic politics. The reporter wants you to look the other way. Don’t.

[Shadi Hamid @shadihamid]

I've been reticent to jump into the moral panic about @AbdulElSayed's supposed ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. But I'll say a few things that should be obvious but apparently aren't, as someone who studied the Brotherhood for years and wrote several books about them. First of all, so what if Abdul's mom was involved with the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood in the 1970s? What does that have to do with Abdul? You shouldn't be judged for something your parents did or didn't do before you were even born. That's plainly guilt by association.

As for the Egyptian Brotherhood itself, it hasn't been involved in political violence since the 1940s/50s and even those incidents can't really be described as terrorism, since they didn't target innocent civilians for political gain. In the decades since, the Brotherhood has repeatedly renounced violence and committed themselves to pursuing their aims through the democratic process. It's little accident that Al-Qaeda's number two, Ayman al-Zawahiri, wrote an entire book condemning the Brotherhood as lackeys and disbelievers, precisely because they had agreed to abide by the rules of the democratic game.

Of course, it's totally fine to dislike the Brotherhood and what they stand for. They advocate for the application of Islamic law in politics and for a larger role for Islam in public life more broadly. In short, they're illiberal and we as Americans probably wouldn't want to live under their rule. But I don't see how one could describe them as an "extremist" organization. Their views on Islam — as ample polling makes clear — are fairly mainstream by Egyptian standards. I'm not sure it makes a lot of sense to judge the Brotherhood according to liberal, American standards.

Before the Trump administration, successive U.S. administrations engaged directly with Muslim Brotherhood officials and maintained open lines of communication with their leaders, which made sense. They were the largest mass movement and opposition group in Egypt and it would have been foolish to ignore them from the standpoint of U.S. national interests.

Even if you hate the Brotherhood, it should also be possible to hold the view that their members and supporters shouldn't be repressed or killed and should have the right to participate in politics and contest democratic elections. Democracy, at its core, is about the right to make the wrong choice.

In many ways, MAGA as a movement is more radical than the Brotherhood was in Egypt both before and during the Arab Spring. At the very least, MAGA — like the Brotherhood — is illiberal. And the Republican Party under Trump has a dubious relationship with democracy. After all, a significant number of Republicans, including Trump himself, didn't respect democratic outcomes in 2020 and sought to overturn a legitimate election.

The GOP's attempt to demonize the Brotherhood and paint with the guilt-by-association brush is just another way to vilify peaceful law-abiding American Muslims by portraying them as having foreign ties and dual loyalties. It should be rejected as such. The idea that Abdul is some secret Muslim Brotherhood member is absurd on its face.

I wish the Republican Party would make up its mind about people like Abdul and Zohran, both of whom take the Democratic Party's line on LGBTQ rights and even trans athletes participation in women's sports. Sure, their faith is important to them and it influences them — but Republicans should welcome the fact that there are prominent Muslim politicians who are normalizing talking about one's faith in public life, especially after criticizing the Democratic Party for being inhospitable to people of faith.

[Lisa McClain @LisaForCongress]

Not exaggerating. The Communist Democrat platform explicitly wants:

• Steps toward abolishing the police & prisons
• Defund the Department of War and close overseas bases
• Abolish the Senate + replace the President/Supreme Court
• Public ownership of the biggest corporations
• Full amnesty and end to ICE

See it for yourself:

Tom @KeanForCongress puts #NJ07 families first!

- Expanded the Child Tax Credit
- Fought to quadruple the SALT deduction, which saved taxpayers thousands

His opponent wants to reverse it all. Unbelievable.

[Tom Kean @KeanForCongress]

I was proud to fight for and secure an expanded Child Tax Credit so New Jersey families can keep more of what they earn.

But @RebeccaForNJ07 wants to take those tax cuts away.

She is wrong for New Jersey.
