Standout today for John O'Keefe and Sandra Birchmore.
Via Mr. @DennisSwee8265.
May Sandra and John's names never be said for a final time.
May history always remember them.
@TullahTinkeryo@conlin_lauren@ginamilan_ Good question. They likely didn’t realize what should be obvious to anyone who’s worked with IVs and people. In their timeline they didn’t comment on placing a new IV, so I’m unsure if they attempted a new IV or not.
@kattnotwilliams@luciawilke 7 patients received the potassium erroneously in their spinal blocks in OR. One was paralyzed permanently from the waist down. Preliminary investigation report is published.
@conlin_lauren@ginamilan_ Per witnesses she complained of her IV burning, which is a well known sign of the IV not being correctly placed and patent. The meds prob went into her tissues rather than into the vein (from an NP).
@therobthomson1@TheEmilySee@therobthomson1 Eddie will never be forgotten. From the mountains above Salt Lake City, Utah. Organ donation is one the best, most selfless gifts a person can give. 💛☀️Supporting you from an NP in SLC.
@BrianEntin Let me reiterate. This has nothing to do with Lindsay Clancy. As a medical provider, I have great concern with it being out there that people with mental illness have a “look.” From me, a Nurse Practitioner for 20 years and health care professional for 30.
@BrianEntin My concern is it does a significant disservice to all to think or hear that there’s a way someone with mentally illness that there’s a “look” to people with it. That is misinformation, is wrong and severely damaging information to be putting out there.
