#WorldBookDay2023 done a bit differently today: instead of dressing up Erin’s primary school asked the children to decorate a potato as a favourite book character. She chose @StephenMulhern’s Max Magic. If she wins the school will buy a copy for the school library 🤞🏻😊

@simonharris_mbd A scheme of this nature was found to have the opposite effect - parents who were late but rushing to reduce how late they were concluded that, as they would be fined the same amount for a further 25 minutes of lateness, there was no point in rushing. Therefore lateness increased.
