Hi @dobetterdnvr, here's what we have for you: Around 9:30 p.m. last night (June 2), investigators were assisting with the apprehension of a suspect wanted for homicide. The suspect, however, fled in their car and a vehicle pursuit was subsequently authorized near E. Alaska Pl and S. Potomac St.

The pursuit proceeded into Denver, where Denver PD began their assist. The suspect ultimately crashed near Federal Blvd. and Speer Blvd. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident.

The Denver Police Department is taking over the accident investigation. Occupants of an uninvolved vehicle were hit by the suspect as they tried to flee apprehension in Denver. Those individuals sustained minor injuries and one occupant was transported to a local hospital for evaluation as a precaution. The suspect and a passenger in his car also sustained minor injuries and were transported to a hospital for medical evaluation before being released.

During the investigation, officers learned that the passenger had been held against her will during the pursuit.

The suspect was wanted on charges related to a homicide, felony domestic violence, and an active felony eluding warrant.

HELP US IDENTIFY WITNESSES IN FATAL HIT-AND-RUN CRASH

Douglas County Sheriff’s Office investigators are asking for the public’s help following a fatal crash that occurred at 10:30 a.m. in Highlands Ranch near Wildcat Reserve Parkway and Willowbridge Way.

The suspect has been located and arrested. However, investigators are still looking for anyone who may have witnessed the suspect’s driving behavior before the crash or observed events immediately after the crash in the area shown on the map.

Investigators are also seeking dash camera footage, doorbell camera video, and surveillance camera footage from homes or businesses in the area. They are only looking for video showing the truck pictured here.

Even if you think what you captured may not be important, it could provide valuable information to investigators.
