I know there is no formal "short reads" category you can select but if you include specific short read type keywords and have the right word count, will Amazon most likely include you? Or are there secrets I should know? #indieauthorchat

A3. If you wrote a book on tech for small biz and put it in the furniture refinishing category, you may be listed in the number 1 position but there won't be too many people searching for furniture refinishing who will buy your book. #indieauthorchat

@StevenSeril @StonehamPress Absolutely. And you don't have to limit yourself to the 2 that Amazon lets you select. You can reach out to Amazon support help to request that they add your book additional categories. They did it for me in about 4 hours. #indieauthorchat

A2. I start an Amazon search with a few letters and then wait to see what it gives me for keywords. Like "marke" and then wait for marketing terms to appear. Since I write on #marketing topics, this is very helpful. #indieauthorchat
