@RichardSearle hi Richard the museum has some hard copies of your images -via A Searle - that I would like to discuss with you. Could you email me? I can't DM you here.
@LouHoskin@AndyAitcheson Yes yes to Babylon Berlin. Fantastic at showing how the Nazis got their claws into people and the foolishness of conservatives who thought they could control them. All leavened with some beautiful nightclub set pieces.
@franvsingleton It will at least allow you to talk confidently about the subject in interview. You don’t need to have catalogued a 1000 objects, say, to be able to claim knowledge of cataloging. You just need to have done enough to talk it about sensibly. Hang on in there and best of luck.
@franvsingleton More positively: it’s great that you’re getting interviews. You know you’re submitting strong applications and hopefully it’s simply a numbers game of plugging away until there’s a good fit.
@franvsingleton In the meantime if there are gaps in your experience (as opposed to just years on the clock) is there a way to plug them with (free) training courses / videos / shadowing someone?
God, I absolutely loved 'How We Used To Live' at primary school, though the teachers never seem to get us through a whole series. What did happen to the mill owner's daughter??
“It’s getting to the point where I don’t think I can do it anymore. I didn’t take this job to starve children.”
Heartbreaking interview with a dinner lady at our rally last night.

Who knows Maria Arbuzowa?
She was last registered in Luhansk, where we now have no way of searching for her. Maria had a daughter in 1944 when she was a forced laborer in Germany, but she lost her in the chaos of war. Now her grandchildren are looking for relatives. Please help!
It’s Holocaust Memorial Day. This year, I’m thinking of a woman called Sulamita Szapiro. Here she is as a student. We weren’t related and I don’t even know much about her, but I’m pretty sure that remembering her still falls to me. This is a thread about why.
@Senzaz@Senzaz Hey! Sorry to hear this. Repairs are now complete and we are charging up the network now. Water should start to come back on at a lower flow than usual until the pressure has built up again. Please keep checking your supply throughout the morning. Thanks
