🚨BREAKING: The United States government has sent official condolences to the family of Henry Nowak and the people of the United Kingdom
The US cares more than Keir Starmer.
You can say whatever you want, but the way the club has handled the ending of this season, Pep, Bernardo and John's exits shown who that we are truly a step above the rest.
And for one, even though haters say we don't have it, we've shown the club has more soul than anyone.
Before I joined the club, Pep was already an inspiration for me. To become his player and after 9 years end up being the one with most games played under him is truly an honour. He arrived at Man City, and the Premier League couldn’t be dominated playing his way… Well, they were wrong. Not only he dominated, he changed the game in England as he did in other countries before. The hunger and ambition to want more and more even after winning and winning again was a big inspiration. For me personally, he was and will always be my father of football. A lot of the things that many managers in the past thought were weaknesses of my game, he saw it as strengths and understood me from day one. On a personal level, the kindness, trust and respect that we had for each other makes me the proudest and goes beyond football. I couldn’t be more grateful for what he did for me and my family. Thank you for all the memories and experiences to the greatest manager ever Pep Guardiola! 😄
Bayern fans getting pressed over this is honestly embarrassing.
Kompany is a Manchester City icon. and Legend. This is the farewell of a manager who shaped him, both as a player and as a coach.
Relax, get some perspective, and grow up.
My biggest regret is that City couldn't give David Silva a proper farewell due to covid. If anyone deserves a packed Etihad stadium shouting his name at the top of their voices, it's him.
🥺💙 A full-circle moment for this young Manchester City fan:
• Back in 2016, a 7-year-old Manchester City fan named Braydon found himself sharing a taxi with Pep Guardiola on the Spaniard's first days at the club
• During the ride, Braydon looked at Pep and confidently said: "You're going to win everything with City!"
• Pep's response was simple: "We'll try."
• 10 years later, Braydon is now 17 and working as a journalist. At Pep's farewell, he got one last photo with the manager who defined an era.
From Pep's first day to his last, Braydon's prediction proved to be spot on: Premier League titles. FA Cups. Champions League, and many more! 🏆
Well Pep, a sad day for football and for City fans
But it’s also a day to celebrate your incredible achievements over the last 10 years in Mcr
You were probably even responsible for getting Oasis back together 🤣
Enjoy your rest and be proud of all you have achieved 🤝
Anyway,
Not sure who planned that gig, but it was absolutely fantastic….
A brilliant night
If you missed it, you missed out..
Well done and thank you @ManCity@ManCityHelp#mcfc
