Nothing has really changed to improve their lives and so I welcome any awareness raising of the daily struggle that is a carers life. Also the toll it intakes on you all mentally. Many carers are on anti depressants.
Carer’s Allowance is the lowest benefit of its kind – just £69.70 a week.
