Sugar is sugar! There is no health difference in eating HFCS or Cane Sugar. It's just that most western diets have TOO MUCH sugar.

High-Fructose Corn Syrup is 55% fructose and 45% glucose.

Cane sugar is 50% glucose and 50% fructose.

Both are metabolized the same way.
