FYI Patrick’s own father John "Jack" Kielty was shot dead in 1988 by a group calling themselves the Ulster Freedom Fighters (UFF) during the Troubles in N. Ireland.

If anyone is qualified to talk about hope it’s @PatricKielty and the people of Ireland, where the mothers played a huge role in achieving “the miracle” of peace.

I screamed with delight after Baraye, the anthem of the Iranian uprising won the Grammy in the Best Song for Social Change category. Shervin Hajipour’s Baraye, is about the grievances of Iranians who long for a normal life. This is the soundtrack of revolution.
