There’s a difference between management and leadership. When you manage you focus on tasks and numbers. When you lead you focus on the people that drive the numbers.

My babies are too young to read this now. And they’d barely recognize me in my gear. But if they lose me to COVID I want them to know Mommy tried really hard to do her job. #GetMePPE#NYC
Today, I am issuing a “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Executive Order. It goes into effect tonight at midnight.
The goal here is simple: Stay home. Stay safe. Save lives. If we all stay at home, except for critical work and needs, we can mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
Important reminder:
There are people in your life that are struggling right now but they don’t show it.
Be kind to everyone around you. Someone might really need it.
Here are some ideas when working from home.
1. Exercise when you wake up. If you have kids have them join you.
2. Shower and get dressed after working out like you’re going to work.
3. Eat the same time each day.
4. Take short breaks.
5. Light walk after dinner.
Three important truths to remember and share during challenging times:
1. Every challenge has an opportunity within it.
2. How you see the world determines the world you see.
3. We will overcome.
