Trump said something outside a press gaggle that I don’t think enough people caught.
A reporter called him out on the corruption. He gave three responses.
1. I have the right to do it.
2. He’s not stealing that much. A billion or two billion dollars. Not that much money. Classic Trump.
3. People don’t care.
That’s the permission structure. Our collective apathy is what they’re using to justify everything happening in Washington right now.
Please stand up and prove him wrong.
Several federal government X accounts, such as the U.S. State Department and Customs and Border Protection, have deleted posts from previous presidencies.
@CANADA566@Liberty_Sean321 What was your breaking news? I can't hear when 2 people are talking at once.
(please announce you're cutting in with breaking news, so other speaker can stop). Ty!
It's a disservice to all veterans who struggle off the battlefield when we vilify men like @grahamformaine, while ignoring the mental & emotional internal chaos of war-induced PTSD.
They all deserve better.
There are reasons for human behavior. Reasons are not excuses. Read ⬇️
@davidfrum I'd agree, IF he wasn't a disabled vet.
We could do something good for veterans with PTSD. Create a national conversation about how it manifests & how to heal.
Instead, we show vets with PTSD that - even if they are healed - their illness makes them unacceptable.
Maybe Wayne, the customer who ordered drinks from Platner, gave off a stink vibe that Platner chose not to engage with. 🤷♀️
Wayne, a right-winger, reportedly attended the Jan 6 insurrection. His wife, a former Trump campaign staffer, was there too. She's famous for this read out:
These are bizarre restrictions designed to have a chilling effect. Why are @GovSherrillNJ and @rasjbaraka allowing this? LEO on the ground are not explaining.
@ACLUNJ@NLGnews
🚨 “I DON'T HAVE TO EXPLAIN.” 🚨
A Newark police officer refuses to explain the legal basis for restricting protective gear near the Delaney Hall protests.
“You’re not even citing a code,” @JordanChariton responds.

So the @nypost came out with a *bombshell* on @grahamformaine.
Now we know one former patron who frequented a watering hole where Platner bartended a decade ago says he was an "a-hole extraordinaire."
Platner showed no friendly, warm vibes to said customer. 🤔
Well ... ⬇️
This stuff isn't difficult to find in 2026.
The @nypost either knowingly published a hit piece or a prime example of lazy, weak journalism.
As readers, it's up to you to vet their sources.
@lyndseyfifield And now you trust the NYT? The same outlet that wrote relentlessly about Kavanaugh accusers who you said were lying?
https://t.co/Q0FNTefn71
@lyndseyfifield I believe much of your account. I question your motive.
You: "What’s ironic is I absolutely never would have shared my story if he hadn’t been relentlessly attacking my character behind the scenes for months once the tattoo story came out."
@CoreyWriting Well, most of the accusations are coming from the same woman who smeared the Kavanaugh accusers, so there's that. Also ...

The entire conversation about Graham Platner's personal life could have been a look inside the impact of PTSD on US military members' relationships.
The @nytimes could have interviewed researchers & doctors who have expertise in the field.
The PTSD impact cannot be ignored.
