@chrishipkins U are right about Nicola Willis. This government sucks. Labour was doing wonders with WINZ & my son got a great job but under National he is now out of work and no one will even give an interview. Really they are using Ai to fatten the bottom line for people making six figures.

@chrishipkins Ai can't actually write a good English Literature essay or Film essay. It is essential to back up all points with quotes, but LLMs r scared to quote bc copyright & the LLMs make up fake quotes & scenes that aren't even in the book or film.

@chrishipkins I suppose everyone is going to act silly & crazy over Ai like they did with search engines in the beginning. The education system has to learn to adapt the way they did with the internet. It doesn't necessitate kids only being assessed by exams.

@chrishipkins Also for students mental health having some internal assessment is so much better for students. Pure exam based is not a genuine assessment of students knowledge & for some kids it puts anxiety threw the roof so they're judged based on if they're anxiety prone & their handwriting
