The entire US voting system is basically a labyrinth of shell companies designed to obscure who owns those machines.
That's all the "evidence" you need to know that our voting systems are totally corrupt.
These cases illustrate how utterly shot the US asylum process is. These were children of regime leaders claiming to be oppressed by that same regime - and going back for visits. Yet they got asylum, LPR, and damn near citizenship.
@FareedZakaria Has any so-called journalist azzhat ever racked up so many bloated paychecks for so few contributions into a fact-based analysis of geopolitical reality?
Aren't you embarrassed?
Colorado is now requiring lawyers in the State, as a condition of logging into its court e-filing system, to promise not to cooperate with federal authorities in enforcing federal immigration law.
Please understand:
- I do not practice immigration law.
- I do not practice criminal law.
- Nothing about my civil practice has anything to do with this.
And yet because I cannot log into the State's official e-filing system without saluting The Resistance, I now cannot represent my clients, file lawsuits, access cases, file documents in existing cases, etc.
If I click "Decline," it kicks me out of the system. I must click "Accept" to access the system and continue representing my civil clients -- again, in cases that have absolutely nothing to do with immigration law or policy.
I've read SB 25-276 (the law referred to below). It does not regulate me as a private attorney or any of the clients I represent in civil matters. This is outrageous draconian overreach.
I have ethical obligations to my clients to represent them competently. My existing cases have running deadlines that I must attend to. Judges issue orders in my cases that I must follow. If I don't click "Accept" in order to access the State's e-filing system, I will harm my clients, torpedo my practice, and probably commit malpractice. So, I have no choice.
I'm clicking "Accept" under protest.
A Colorado appeals court upheld Tina Peters’ convictions — but overturned her sentence. Why? Because the lower court judge relied, in part, on her speech and beliefs to determine her punishment.
That’s a First Amendment violation. If the sentence is unconstitutional, it cannot stand. And if it cannot stand, neither should her continued incarceration.
Release Tina Peters.

As everyone is focused on the SCOTUS hearing on @POTUS Executive Order ending Birthright Citizenship, I can’t help but wonder:
Why hasn’t Congress passed a LAW ending birthright citizenship?
We have a majority.
@GovofCO So therapy that helps kids accept their perfectly healthy bodies and biological realities is the “conversion” while radical drugs and surgery is “affirming.” You people are all crazy.
@MattWalshBlog Therapy is supposed to be a place for honest reality-testing, not scripted answers from the state. Once the government starts deciding which truths a therapist is allowed to say out loud, everybody should get a little nervous.
@MattWalshBlog The law also prohibited therapists from trying to help patients determine what may be behind the dysmorphia and treating underlying disorders, so that unnecessary and disfiguring experiments were not performed by medical practitioners who no longer believe in doing no harm.
@MattWalshBlog@ChrisPhillipsTX Welcome to Colorado. We - without exception- have the most left wing state legislature anywhere in the country. And, the very few republicans we have in the statehouse are absolute spineless jellyfish, save one or two.
If anywhere needs an exorcism, it’s Colorado.
The Senate is completely broken.
They won’t represent the people, they won’t protect the Republic, they send billions of tax dollars unsupervised overseas to Ukraine, take kickbacks, send billions of tax dollars to terrorists like the Taliban, refuse to fight fraud or cut costs, refuse to secure our elections, refuse to secure our borders, and refuse to deport all illegal aliens.
The senate exists as a “club” to make its members rich and to support the status quo in Washington.
The needs of the citizens never enter into their efforts except for a few crumbs that throw at us and what they can’t prevent Trump from achieving.
@its_The_Dr@randy2006usa What’s sad is this is what you do when the other side has the majority….try to just make it “clean” so you can apply political pressure to pass it. Yet here we are…having the White House, House and Senate has gotten us nowhere. Our own side acts like the opposition.
🚨 BREAKING: Florida just scored a HUGE MAHA court win after the 11th Circuit upheld the state’s ban on lab-grown meat, dealing a major blow to a California company tied to Gavin Newsom.
Big victory for REAL food in the Sunshine State ☀️
Massive vindication for Agriculture Commissioner Wilton Simpson, who pushed this fight all the way to Gov. Ron DeSantis’ desk.
“Another win for Real Food — another loss for Frankenmeat.”
He said the ruling is a major win for Florida consumers and warned that lab-grown “meat” has not been proven safe enough for the public.
Simpson also made it clear this agenda threatens farms, food security, and the nation’s food supply.
“As Florida’s Commissioner of Agriculture, I will fight every day to protect a safe, affordable, and abundant food supply.” @WiltonSimpson
Should more states follow Florida’s lead?
A. Absolutely
B. Yes, immediately
C. Protect farms
D. Ban it nationwide
